Description
I dreamed that i was traveling in an airship to a wide horizon, i just remember the marvelous sky with a big abandoned city down in the deep lands. Months later i had the same dream, but i saw a BIG airship with a huge sky-fortress on the same location.
This was done with Ballpoint Pens and some part were done with my colour pencils. Like the eye and the ship. I wanted to practice perspective a little bit, with LOTS of cities and i am glad with my results.

Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactI really love the point of view here. and the coloring along the edge keeps your eyes moving around the piece. I love that the buildings have so much detail, and the shading on each brick is incredible. The bird i think is my favorite part, because it anchors the eye. i love the cross hatching on the clouds/sky too. it gives it a bit of a surreal effect to it. i think though, that to balance it completely, it need a little red brought down to the bottom, and a tiny bit of the tan/orange to the clouds. very minimally though.
