:star:The Final Dream:star:

Wouldnt you like to live here? :giggle:
MINIGAME: Try to find the flower!

Why "The Final Dream"? Its has a very deep personal meaning for me, but it is marking the end of an stage of my deviantART life and Artist life, and with it another milestone will be achieved on my artistic life wich involves only digital Art. I spend 2 months overrall on drawing my piece, i wanted my most important drawing until here to be very special! It marks my return for good!

All the work here is done by Ballpoint Pens (crosshatching) and Colour Pencils, with the exception of the Sky that is done with Digital media because i wanted to mix everything i know into one single drawing! And here is the result of my art experience. I hope you can identify all the aspects of it! :aww:

Where did i got this inspiration? Part the intention was born as the result of my discovery of how real life is, my moments of self-discovery, and my return to dA (the second-life i missed), the other half of the part is the "final dream" part of it. Wich will remain as a secret. :dummy:

Thanks for reading!
I would apreciatte if you coment! I will reply. ^^

First off, let me say that I think you really delivered with your full potential on this one. You continue to have daring and vivid surreal concepts that look divine or like they belong from another world altogether, and they are a pleasure to look at.

After studying this picture for a few minutes, there isn't anything I can really criticize in the technical fields of this. In all the media that you used, you kept contrast and good shading quality consistent throughout the piece. Your work in pen gives off nice shadows, the colored pencil gives for some interesting light effects and the digital is not too distracting from the traditional, it blends in to the scene quite well. The composition is feels complete and nicely arranged, there's not too much color nor too little, some of the gear measurements are off but that's definitely natural.

Anyway, I'm going to stop there. It is a beautiful work and very well done.
What do you think?

I'm good thanks. I'm trying to focus on art at the moment instead of playing computer games! Even though, I've just bought a selection of games off my friend, including FFIII for the DS, so wish me luck!! ;) Hope you're well, friend.

Oh, you are the 2nd person i know who plays Guild Wars over here! I would like to play Bioshock, but i think i will left that to the next vacations. Principally for the enviroment wich i find preeety fascinating is the reason i want to play Bioshock Infinite. Its like a Carreousel-Circus style. :XD:

I like the way you used the colors on the mosaic-like wall on the background left. The clouds on the sky are convincing; reminiscent of fantasy games. I guess there is that FF look on them! Your inspiration on the gears is OK, but for me, gears kind of represent work rather than self-discovery. Mirrors, reflections and WordArt suit best for that. It looks like your return to dA was all worthwhile!

You are right about Gears relation with hard work! I have to work harder in oder to acomplish what i really want. It wa spart of my self-realization. had to explain it on a very big message that will result as a wall of text, lol. But in fact: I apreciatte what you said! I hope that my return has been forever! :la::dummy: Hehehe

There is this wonderful book called: "La Magia de M.C. Escher". It could be useful for those mosaic stones on the background. For a moment, the old man Escher's techniques are what I saw in you and your dedication on the separation of lines could be part of your own style. I will keep discovering new things from your art.

What can I say, this is absolutely amazing! I love, how it's neither too bright or too dark, when it comes to the colours and the fact, that most of this was made with ballpoint pen is so amazing. You really did a great job with this! It kinda reminds me of some kind of final level in a videogame x3

And indeed what i thought while drawing this is the Final Battle or the Final Scene of a Videogame, i dont know why or how but according to the music i was listening it reminded me of it! i was listening to this song at around 1:05 when this scenary came to my mind. I suppose music helps me to give an identity to my drawings and spaces. Thank you for your coment! It made me very glad! I see i managed to give some kind of equilibrium between the technical media indeed! ^^

I can definitely relate to that! Sometimes, when I listen to music, instrumental or with vocals, I also imagine stories or situations to match it. That music clip, you linked to, fits perfectly to the mood in the drawing! if this was a videogame, I'd definitely play it :la:

Yeah, when i was doing the sky for some reason i imaginated the gears moving and lots of things going on LOL. I am glad i am not the only one who imaginates histories with music. LOL

Year, that just makes the whole artistic process even more fun! There's been many times, where I've wanted to make animations or comics to music, that I hear or, as you did, a single picture, depicting the whole mood of the music piece. I should probably get started on that some time x3

Oh yeah, that makes it even more fun indeed! Sometimes i feel limited because i am making one single picture, but sometimes i start imaginating a lot of scenes from movies of my imagination! :D Its pretty weird. Hehe. Sadly i dont think i will do ana nimation, i am more of an illustrator. LOL Do you like more Illustration? Or animation? :3

Indeed. Sometimes, it's a challenge to limit oneself to make a single picture depicting a specific mood, but then again, it's fun to challenge oneself once in a while x3
And well, I like both, but I'm more into illustrating, since I'm not very good at animation as of now. It could be cool to try out some time, though, but that'll have to wait, 'till I get my hands on a drawing tablet again ;W;
For the time being, I'm working with traditional art again and also papercraft, just to try something new. It just kinda sucks, that I can't be so active ondeviantArt, since I've made heaps of drawings, but I never really get the time to submit them D:

Same here xD. At this moment i dont have the patience to animate something. Ironically the 1st Digital Art experience i had was with that. When you get a tablet your eyes will open a lot indeed! Why are you trying Papercrafting? I have never got interested on it but i have saw a lot of works that are so magnificent as hell! Nice one!

Aww, try to be more active at dA!
Just coment, and you will end up being addicting again!
You dont need a drawing to call atetnion, journals have that purpose LOL.
Or just an sketch LOL
